Title!!!!!

We finally have title through......This took forever, not sure if this is Geelong council or just how it is, anyway it is very frustrating. Settlement is due on the 29th of September, here is hoping it happens a bit quicker from now on but not holding my breath.

We have had a bit of a problem with the back left peg, well lack of peg that nobody really wants to take responsibility for.
The land sales office says talk to conveyor, they said talk to builder, builder says we can pay for it or talk to land developer..... Will keep you updated on that. Thought we might go out and have a dig around first.

We are done :D

August 8th....

And our land is finished, I can't tell you how happy and excited we are to finally after months of waiting and pipes getting put in the wrong places to get here. The land has officially gone to the titles office to become ours. The road is completed and grass seed has been put down. Fingers crossed the title comes through quickly.

The start of August... 

The start of August sees the block nearly done.....Thank goodness. 

The roads are just waiting for their final layer of tar and a few holes need to be filled in still. 

Mish is convinced we need to call the builders RIGHT NOW to start building. 

Yep, I think my bedroom should be here! 

July 1st

JULY.....

Finance is finally sorted and it looks like just in time. The finance expired and due to changes in how the bank decides if survice the loan we had to choose a different bank. The block in the past few weeks has really come along, the roads are nearly done and they are starting to flatten blocks, it won't be long now...we hope. 

Anyway we have street sign :D

Roads still to come, footpath done and block to flattened.

Went to visit again today in hope that roads would be finished and they nearly are! So exciting, even the little one was excited and wanted us to call the builders :D  The block just needs to be flattened a bit more and the tar poured on the roads and I think it is done. Bring it on, we are ready....maybe.

So far not a lot has happened on our block. As it's down the road we have been visiting way too much and like they say a watched pot never boils. Land was supposed to title in April but at the end of May we are still waiting and it now looks like our finance is about to run out, which I am annoyed about. More paper work and praying that the bank doesn't change their mind.
